HAYDEN IS WALKING!!!

Hayden is now a walker. She finally got bold enough to let go of the coffee table and take her first two steps towards her grandma. Luckily I was standing right behind her and got to see. She isn't walking around the room yet--just going safely from one person to another as long as they aren't too far away. It is so fun to see her finally walking. This is video of her on day two taking 14 steps. I was so excited I didnt even notice how many steps she took just that she took them. I guessed 6 steps and was way off. She had only taken 4 steps the day before and only did that once.

Camryn was getting pretty jealous of all the attention we were giving Hayden and was doing her best to get us to watch her too. So eventually we asked Camryn if she could do a special trick that only a big girl like Camryn could do. I asked if she could jump up and spin in a circle--we all oohed and awed and made a big fuss when she did it. Now every time we show someone Haydens new talent Camryn comes rushing over and makes sure that they also know that she can do a jump spin. Its cute.

I also feel I have to say that I am a very big dork in the movie and a mess. The best moments seem to always be when your in your pj's and haven't taken a shower. I am a little embarrassed to have it up but I'm too proud of Hayden to not let people see. Maybe Ill pull this video down soon and put up just a photo.

Leaf Party!!!

Its Fall!! Well its been fall for a while but this was our first time venturing outside and into the leaf pile. Once the girls saw the big pile of leaves frank had raked up for them they grabbed huge hand fulls tossed them into the air and shouted "leaf party!!" Franky Jay joined in too and Hayden gave it a try but decided it wasn't a game for an 11 month old. They jumped and rolled and buried themselves in leaves...it was a fun evening. "Leaf Party" is something we talk about all the time--it is now a staple in our vocabulary

Bath Time

Every night before bed time the girls take a bath. It helps them wind down from the day and get ready for bed. They are so cute in the tub together. Camryn tries so hard to get her sister to laugh and Hayden just becomes a love bug giving out hugs and kisses. Lately Hayden has found this really awesome thing on top of the faucet that you can pull up--its really cool to try and do over and over again--but what she cant figure out yet is why it starts raining(turning on the shower) nearly every time she pulls it up. Because she really hates when it rains on her-it makes her want to leap out of the tub into my arms. Never the less after I have saved the day and turned off the shower she crawls once again over to that really cool thing to try and pull it up again.

Marine World

Marine World was a lot of fun. It took a lot getting there but once we did it was so awesome. One of the very first things we did was go to the Killer Whale show. We sat in the front in the wet zone and we were all very excited about seeing a whale...that is until Shouka the Whale actually appeared. Once Camryn saw her jump out of the water she screamed and booked it as fast as she could away from where we were sitting. I had to hand off Hayden and run after her. She was terrified. She wouldn't calm down until we had climbed all the way to the top of the stadium to the very back row--as physically for away from Shouka as we could get. Once we were up there she stopped crying and was able to watch and completely enjoy the show. We stayed up there until Shouka had gone away and it was safe again.
After the show we did a lot of rides made perfect for our little guys (they had a blast on the rides!) and we saw a few animals, but the second and third coolest things for the kids were the butterfly room and the shark walk through. We were in the hot humid butterfly room for quite a while looking at all the pretty bugs and the Shark Walk through was a little scary but very cool. They swim right over you. Oh, I forgot about the walrus...We went over to the walrus tank were you stand below water level and watch them swim. Well it was pretty neat until the walrus came swimming right up to Camryn and Sierra. It scarred Sierra half to death. The walrus smooshed his face against the glass and blew bubbles for the girls--it was really cool. Hayden just hung out in her snugly the entire time. She is such a monkey.

Girls

These pictures dont really have any rhyme or rhythm I just love them all. I had to stop myself from putting up more random photos. Camryn in one of the photos is wearing her very special princess dress which she would where all the time if she could. I actually have to hide it from her. Hayden has just taken a bath and is just too cute for words with her hoody towel. The girls, in another picture, are in the backyard eating apples from our tree. Camryn picked the apples for her and Hayden and they both stopped playing for a second to have a snack. And the one with just Camryn looking straight just shows off her BEAUTIFUL sea green eyes. The two of them are so awesome.

Bella! Our new dog!

Well, last Saturday the girls and I (along with Grandma) went to Homeward Bound to adopt a dog. Camryn was so excited to go to the "Dog Farm"-thats what she called it.We saw three dogs before we fell in love with Bella. Bella was the only mixed breed that we looked at but she fit our family perfectly. She is 3 years old, full of energy, and amazing with the kids-especially the baby. She is a Flat Coat Retriever mix. She is really cute. We just love having her here. Camryn loves to go outside and play with her-they explore the yard together. Camryn never used to go outside unless I came with her so it is really nice to see her out playing with Bella. Hayden is just in love with Bella. She crawls after her wherever she goes and pats her black hair and LAUGHS and LAUGHS.

Unfortunately, after owning Bella for only four days she darted out the front door after a cat and struck a speeding vehicle. You would never be able to guess if you saw her today that she dented someones car door shut 5 days ago. We took her to the vet who said she would probably be OK and so far she is. She has lost her appetite but Im sure it will come back soon. We still go for walks and she pulls me along the entire way.

Im very happy that we have her.
